OSEG, Inc. is a Minority-Owned (Small) Business Enterprise, consulting engineering and planning firm based in Atlanta, Georgia. The primary goal and focus of OSEG, Inc., is to deliver a diverse range of skills and project experience while providing a cost effective product for our clients. This process is done by careful review by a project manager to ensure quality engineering and planning services.
In addition to our regular staff , we have consultant support teams that can be assigned on an as needed basis to lend their expertise in project clarification and completion. This assures the smooth design and production of each task. Clear and constant communication, adherence to design standards and review practices help to establish that project designs meet or exceed professional standards. We understand and recognize the need to consult with others if necessary to provide and establish a solid relationship with clients.
The firm’s accumulative multi-disciplinary experience allows for the assemblage of a professional design and management team with resources to ensure a comprehensive approach and adaptability. Schedule Control and Time
-are considered a very important factor, and we make a pledge to complete our work to assure that the project time schedule of each project is met. To acheive this goal, we use an approach that incorporates a systemic review of time and quality throughout the design process.
The foundation of effective planning and delivery is in the early development and implementation of coordinated project control. This ensures that each project is delivered in a timely manner with quality designs. Again, we take pride in our ability to meet rigorous design schedules. Computer Based Programs
-are utilized to assist in the design and the production of drawings. Our software packages allow us to perform a variety of engineering calculations, feasibility studies and load analysis information. Engineers and designers are trained on these systems to obtain maximum efficiency and production. Our design team uses new and innovative techniques on Cad to save time and improve scheduling and coordination without comprising quality. The production of drawings from this systems offer concise document generation and editing abilities, drawing clarity and low project cost. By reducing the number of drafting hours, more time can be allocated to detail on each project. We believe that this technique allows us to produce a more carefully designed product and increase internal efficiency. Maximum compatibility and interfacing is achieved with those of our clients and consultants.
Quality Control
– is maintained during the design phase through a series of in-house review meetings held by the design team. These reviews occur at the beginning of the project and at 50%, 75%, 90% and 100% points of submisssion. These meeting are held by the Project Manager and Project Engineers currently working on the project. Such meeting and the resulting comments are very valuable and helpful to the design team and the success of the project. This is accomplished by a management approach that systematically oversees the progress and quality of the design and documentation of each aspect of the project. This method assures that the highest level of competency is achieved.
